As one festival ends another appears on the horizon

The Okere Falls Beer fest finished up with a bang on Saturday, with an all-day session. It was hampered by a bit of rain here and there, but that did not dampen spirits. I must apologise - in the rush to get there I forgot the camera, so no pics this time. The crew at OkereFalls Store did a fantastic job all week, and all who attended were keen for it to become an annual event.

Great news for Tauranga fans of good beer (...and seafood) - the Tauranga Moana Seafood Festival is taking place alongside the Tauranga Wharf at Dive Crescent between the Sebel Trinity Wharf Hotel and The Strand) on Saturday the 29th of November from 5.30pm to 10.30pm.

There will be lots of great local seafood dishes on offer, as well as music, fire dancers, wine and fine beer. Croucher Brewing will be there with our range of beers, providing another opportunity for Tauranga people to sample our wares.
